Accountant/Tax Preparer Lake Arrowhead, CA
Job description
Seeking a highly motivated, self starter to handle general accounting and tax preparation for a variety of clients including individual, business and non-profit. Must have at least 2+ years experience with QuickBooks and a current CTEC license or Enrolled Agent designation. Must be able to enter, reconcile and handle adjusting entries to create monthly financial statements for clients. Must be able to prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses (Corporation, LLC, Partnership) at a minimum.
Requirements
- 2-5 years prior experience in Tax Preparation
- Valid PTIN
- Valid CTEC
- Experience in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office with proficient knowledge of Excel
- Attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions, while adhering to deadlines.
- Capable of handling and maintaining confidential information
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both orally and written
