The Pathology Department is looking for an individual looking to join a fast-paced and hard-working team. Incumbents must have the ability to function with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and cultural humility and handle a variety of independent assignments with minimal supervision. Our department needs a strong, kind and respectful communicator that enjoys interaction with faculty, staff and trainees.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Administrative Assistant serves as the primary administrative support person to Faculty in Leadership roles. The Administrative Assistant performs traditional and advanced administrative functions to facilitate the efficient operation of the department and organization. Specific duties include faculty support, recruitment and successful onboarding of new physicians.
EDUCATION:
Requires an Associate's Degree in business or secretarial sciences
EXPERIENCE:
Previous employment in an office environment sufficient to demonstrate advanced and seasoned administrative support skills. Incumbents must have the ability to function with a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and cultural humility and handle a variety of independent assignments with minimal supervision.
