Assistant Manager/ Swim Instructor Midlothian, VA
Job description
Are you looking for a fun and rewarding job working with kids? We are currently seeking Assistant Manager candidates who have swimming and teaching experience.
Assistant Manager candidates will begin by learning the Front Desk and Swim Instructor positions to learn our location's curriculum and sales information. This position can be a feeder for future General Managers at KIDS FIRST so it is a great, entry-level management position to begin your career with our company.
Details for the role of Assistant Manager:
-Requires between 30-40 hours per week (can be part time or full time)
-Must be available some daytime, evening, and weekend hours
-Flexible schedule great for college students, recent college grads, and working parents
Candidates applying for this position should:
-Enjoy working with children of all ages
-Be comfortable with sales and customer service
-Be outgoing, enthusiastic, charismatic
-Be punctual, organized, and professional
-Have a swimming background (Must know all 4 strokes)
-Able to be in the water for periods of up to 5 hours and/or multiple days a week
-Be open to learning our curriculum & teaching lessons for a few hours a week
-Have previous experience working with children
-Have at least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience
-At least 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience
We are ideally looking for someone with a swimming background but having a passion for working with children and previous customer service experience are the most important characteristics we look for!
