Job description
CNC Machinist
Looking for a strong CNC Machinist to join an industry leading manufacturing company in the Savannah, Georgia area. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits and room for advancement. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, good experience with NC Mills and/or Lathes and experience measuring tolerances using micrometers.
Monday-Friday: 7:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible in maintaining production flow of a few specific machines
- Operating production machines
- Ensuring product is to par with quality requirements and making adjustments if needed
- Use micrometers to check quality of parts coming off machine
- Interpret blueprints and engineered drawings
- Maintain daily production records,
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience running CNC Mill/Lathe
- Exp. using micrometers
- Good mathematical skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
