We are looking for Correctional RN in North Prince George, VA. We need someone with Min 1 year of experience as a Correctional RN.
Shift Time: Night
Contract: 14 Weeks
Confirmed Hours: 36 hours per week (12*3)
Regular Rate: $58.59/hr. (Blended rate for travelers) and $54.74/hr. (for non-travelers)
Package for Travelers: (Based on 36 hours per week)
Total Gross Income: $2109.24/week
Non-Taxable Amount: $1,099/week (Max)
Taxable Amount: $1010.24/week
Certificates: BLS must be from AHA (American Heart Association).
Licensure: Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state of Virginia or any compact state license.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (Correctional) provides professional nursing care on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the client.
· The Registered Nurse (Correctional) prescribes, coordinates and delegates nursing care utilizing the nursing process which is integrated into the multidisciplinary treatment team plan of care.
· The Registered Nurse (Correctional) is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.
· The Registered Nurse (Correctional) monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
· The Registered Nurse (Correctional) perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts.
