We are seeking a Director of Nursing with previous experience in the home health and hospice industry. Ideal candidates will also have expertise in managing home health nurses and aides and have experience advocating for clients in a high-pressure work environment. The Director of Nursing will be responsible for providing direct client care, managing home health aides, training and supervising medical professionals and ensuring that patients receive appropriate medical services in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a staffing schedule that meets short- and long-term staffing needs of the department.
- Maintain effective communication with other departments and hospital personnel.
- Provide support for patients, families, and staff.
- Manage staff performance, competency, and conduct.
- Coordinate with physician's office to ensure that the patient's medical records are up to date.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
