Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a full-time, Project Scientist with 1+ years of experience conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Responsibilities and Duties
Phase I ESA responsibilities include the drafting and compilation of a standardized report in accordance with ASTM E-1527-21 (AAI) and occasionally conducting site visits of wireless communications facilities and commercial properties. Performing QA/QC to the satisfaction of both management and clients within established timelines is also an expectation of the role. The site visit is comprised of taking detailed field notes, photographs, and conducting interviews. Subsequent to field work, office activities consist of performing regulatory agency file reviews, reviewing historic data (including but not limited to topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs), reviewing title/lien search reports, and environmental databases.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered, the resume of the applicant must show that the applicant possesses the following qualifications/skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Be an independent worker with a strong work ethic
- Skill and patience to produce work with very few if any errors
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with communication with the public, via phone or email
- Ability and willingness to travel (travel not expected to exceed 2-3 days at a time). Travel will consist of weekly travel, and the candidate should expect to travel at least 4-5 times per month.
- Valid Driver License
Experience conducting the following assessments is preferred:
- Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
- Previous HAZPOWER and/or ACM/LBP licensing
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Sustainability, Geography, Architectural History, Civil Design/Planning, Communications, or related field

Salary: $45,000.00 - $60,000 per year based on past experience
Schedule:
· In office position 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. No remote or work from home option prior to two years of employment
· 8 hour day with flexible start time ranging from 7am to 9am
