Responsibilities of the General Ledger Manager
- Lead accounting team members and ensure timeliness and accuracy of month/year end activities.
- Review GL and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and manage reporting schedules.
- Implement internal control improvements to mitigate risks.
- Support annual audit activities.
Qualifications of the General Ledger Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
- 5 years of progressive full cycle accounting experience including previous supervisory responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statement preparations, and external audit processes.
- Familiarity with construction and/or property management industry required.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (Sage or similar), QuickBooks, and property management software (AppFolio or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Salary: $80k-$92k (DOE) Benefits
