Job Summary:
This position is only open to current University of Colorado Anschutz employees.
This position is responsible for monitoring and evaluating aspects of Facilities Support Services in the Facilities Management Department for both campuses of the University of Colorado at Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus. This position will oversee customer service and design staff as well as coach and review those staff members. Position serves as a key individual on the Printing Servicers team providing customer service and design for clients on the Anschutz Medical and Denver campuses, as well as other duties as requested by the Manager of Printing Services and Associate Director of Business Services. This position provides modern, effective design for customers as well as high customer service standards, proper billing and estimating, vendor relationships, and maintain current design standards. Position coordinates with Manager and key individuals from Marketing and Branding to ensure established standards are followed pertaining to design and printing jobs. Position coordinates jobs with outside vendors to ensure quality and timely results and makes sure all purchasing, and payment processes are accurate and appropriate. Works closely and in a professional manner with customers to ensure all customer requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides modern, effective design for digital and print. Coordinates with Manager and key individuals from Marketing and Branding to ensure established standards are followed.
- Provide high-level customer service; including estimates, order-entry, scheduling, and proper billing
- Work with outside vendor to produce printed materials, ensuring quality and timely results and makes sure all purchasing and payment processes are accurate and appropriate
- Process, typeset and proof stationery materials, including business cards, envelopes, and letterhead.
- Adjust and fix supplied artwork to be print-ready for production team.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- Adobe creative suite expert
- 3-5 years of design or printing experience
- Extensive skills in Microsoft office
- Extensive Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Pre-press Experience
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of design or printing experience
- 6 months of University experience
- Associates degree in graphic design
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively oversee staff and coach/evaluate staff with tact and empathy.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Ability to invoice customers correctly, submit and check vendor invoices.
- Ability to manage design schedules to meet deadlines.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $50,000 to $61,000.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
