Job description
We are looking for a Field HVAC Service Technician who will work both locally in the factory as well as travels to customer locations to provide service. The ideal candidate is required to obtain a 2-year HVAC certificate and/or have a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering
Minimum:
· HVAC Industry experience and/or DDC Controls experience
Detail-oriented, ability to plan, organize, set priorities and manage multiple projects
· High level of analytical ability required
· Strong written and verbal communication skills required
· Ability to exercise independent judgment and work independently with minimal supervision
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required
· Ability to travel independently up to 40%
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Communicates with customers via phone, email or face-to-face to answer technical questions
· Handles all logistics required to plan and carryout field repairs on jobs
· Delivers prompt, professional solutions for customer inquiries
· Provides remote troubleshooting to customers on equipment issues
· Manages new installations at customer locations
· Travels to customer locations to provide warranty and technical support
· Assists in training employees engaged in service tasks
· Champions the opinions and suggestions of customers as appropriate to management as part of the continuous improvement process for service
· Participates as needed with Customer visit and presentations
· Works onsite during the assembly of new units assisting with wiring, piping, HVAC controls, and refrigeration systems
· Testing new HVAC units prior to deployment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
