Job Summary IT Recruiter / Assistant
***This position will be Part-Time initially but will eventually be a Full-Time Position***
Must be available to work Monday thru Friday between the hours of 10:00AM and 5:00PM on-site.
We are looking for a skilled IT Recruiter and Assistant to join our team and assist us in identifying and attracting top talent to our organization. As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring highly qualified candidates for various IT positions. Your goal will be to ensure that we have the right people in the right roles to support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruiting plans to identify and attract top talent for various IT positions
- Source and screen resumes of potential candidates using various recruiting tools and techniques
- Conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidate's qualifications and fit for the role
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, from posting job ads to extending job offers and onboarding new hires
- Work with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on the recruitment process
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Use social media and other recruiting channels to build a strong candidate pipeline
- Participate in networking events, job fairs, and other recruiting activities to build a strong employer brand
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruiting
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments
- Answer and screen phone calls and emails
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Conduct research and gather information as needed
- Organize and maintain files and records
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and other events
- Handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not mandatory
- 1+ years of experience in IT recruitment or recruitment
- Proven experience sourcing and hiring top talent for various IT positions
- Strong understanding of recruiting tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
