Description

SAIC is seeking a Junior Level Sustainment Cyber Security Test Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. SAIC supports the US Space Force’s military satellite ground and space communications systems, providing global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s warfighters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn fundamentals of various Operating Systems
• Troubleshoot problems involving complex systems
• Within 6 months of hire, must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoDD 8140 and DoDD 8570.01-M for Information Assurance
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Be a motivated, self-starter capable of autonomous on-the-job learning/improvement with minimal supervision
• Become familiar with Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) processes
• Become familiar with military, aerospace, DoD government, academia, or industry
• Become familiar using Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and benchmarks

Qualifications

Entry Level candidate with no experience who is clearable and a fast learner

Target salary range: $50,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
