What Would You Do? the right candidate is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Marketing Assistant who will join a dynamic marketing team. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and creative support to the marketing department. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in various marketing activities, including content creation, website management, social media management, and visual design. We welcome candidates who are eager to expand their skill set in video production, photography, and graphic design. This position is responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.

What will you be responsible for?

  Assist the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, organizing files, and maintaining databases.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand objectives.
• Support website management efforts by updating content, optimizing pages for search engines, and monitoring site performance.
• Assist in the creation and editing of engaging and visually appealing content, including blog posts, social media posts, infographics, and videos.
• Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance metrics.
• Conduct research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and audience preferences to help inform marketing strategies.
• Assist with organizing and executing marketing events, trade shows, and other promotional activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and assets for marketing campaigns.
• Contribute to the design process by assisting with graphic design tasks, such as creating visuals, editing images, and producing marketing materials.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends in marketing, design, and technology.

Do you have the necessary education and experience?

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field prefered.
• Previous experience or internship in marketing or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in using content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
