Job description
Rend Lake College seeks a part-time Nursing Tutor. This individual will conduct tutoring sessions. This individual will conduct tutoring sessions with students enrolled in designated courses; provide tutoring to individuals or small groups enrolled in nursing courses; help students with subject content according to individual strengths; help students with study strategies and techniques; and other duties as assigned. // Part-time, nontenure-track position.
Registered Nurse Licensure required.
Ability to provide effective individual and group assistance.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Must have a positive attitude and work ethic.
1-3 years’ experience working within the nursing field preferred.
Some tutoring experience helpful but not required.
All candidates will be required to successfully pass a background screening process.
$18 hour Bachelor's degree/$20 hour Master's degree
