Cohen Medical Centers is a Rheumatological/Internal medical practice & infusion center where we treat the whole person and look for root causes of illnesses. Practice includes clinical trials, injection procedures, fully staffed Rheumatology clinic including Rheumatologist, Physician Assistant (PA-C), medical assistants and administrative staff. In addition, there is a fully staffed on-site infusion center that provides infusible and injectable therapies that can help patients regain function, decrease pain, and improve quality of life. We have a total staff of approximately 20.
Pre-Medical, Pre-PA, and other Pre-Professional applicants highly encouraged to apply! Many prior medical scribes have gone on to attend PA school and Medical School.
Overall responsibility
Under the direction of the attending physician, operate as a Medical Scribe by preparing documents for the patient's visit, conducting patient intake, and providing transcription services in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent typing skills.
