Agate Security, Inc. is looking for qualified candidates for UNARMED security located in San Francisco and Oakland. HOURS AVAILABLE ARE: 12AM - 8AM, 4PM - 12AM (3 days/week)
Responsibilities and Duties: Qualified Candidates
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
- Patrol facility or stand post as instructed and serve as a general security presence and visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as property or equipment damage, presence of unauthorized. Persons, theft or unusual occurrences.
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Report all incidents, accidents or emergencies as required. Act as a first responder to any emergencies or suspicious activities.
>> Qualified candidates must also have the following:
- Duty belt
- Baton [expandable or side handle) w/ baton holder (If required to carry baton)
- Pepper Spray w/ Pouch (If carrying pepper spray)
- Magazine Pouch (If carrying firearm)
- Handcuffs w/ handcuff case and key (If you have a permit)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- BSIS GUARD CARD
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Baton PERMIT is a PLUS
- Pepper Spray PERMIT is a PLUS
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Drug-Free
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
- Must have reliable means of communication and reliable means of transportation
- Adhere to professional grooming standards
- Have a clean criminal background
- Professional attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.
- Females and Veterans w/Honorable Discharge are strongly encouraged to apply
