Job description
We are currently hiring a Full Time Shopkeeper in Rehoboth Beach, DE.
As a shopkeeper, you will present the shop in a friendly, inviting and organized manner. Provide the Dogfish experience to guests on the go. Help run the store: maintaining adequate stock levels and managing the payment process.
What You’ll Brew:
- Ensures superb service to customers through the prompt, friendly and accurate processing of merchandise sales; verifies that buyers of alcohol to-go are legal
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of our merchandise, beer and spirits to educate and provide the Dogfish experience to customers
- Properly manages the charging and payment process to ensure accurate charging/billing of customers
- Answers phones within the prescribed timeframes, fielding and/or directing calls as needed
- Enforces and adheres to all safety regulations as required by the position and the company's safety program
- Enforces and adheres to all sanitation initiatives as required by the position and the company's sanitation program; completes all checklists within prescribed timeframes
- Maintains the store in a neat, well-stocked and ready for sale condition
- Opens and closes the store and performs all related duties
- Assists Lead Shopkeeper on execution of promotions, merchandising, store displays and other initiatives
- Provides working support to tour team as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
What Ingredients You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a retail environment
- Familiar with craft beer and the DFH brand
