JOB DESCRIPTION
The Site Survey Specialist is an integral part of the process within operations at Legacy Solar. The site surveyor brings a positive attitude, approaches people with respect and care (even when they don’t deserve it), and clearly communicates with others. The site surveyor should have a growth mindset, taking feedback with a good attitude and the drive to make changes to processes to help make the surveys more efficient and detailed.
SITE SURVEYS
- Coordinate Site Surveys according to the customer’s schedule
- Contact ALL customers and get them scheduled in a timely manner.
- Travel to job, meet with customers and with sales rep, gather information
- Complete a minimum of 10-15 site surveys per week if jobs are available
- Take pictures at site survey according to picture list that is provided, upload all pictures to drive in a timely manner
- Work with solar designer to ensure designs are correct
JOB PREPARATIONS
- Print out ALL Pre and Post job paperwork to create packets
- Work off of designer’s approved overviews to create material lists required for every job
- Work with warehouse manager to ensure job packets are delivered, and ensure that trailers are being packed and jobs are being staged properly
INSTALLATION HELP AND TRAINING
- Will need to be flexible and willing to help with designs as needed by the engineer in getting the overviews started
- Willing to learn and adapt with the industry as it grows as a whole.
WEEKLY EXPECTATIONS
- Complete 10 to 15 site surveys per week if available, this includes conducting survey, uploading ALL pictures into customers folder
- Notify Design team when surveys are ready for design
- Create job packets for following weeks installs, including material lists, and handing packets over to Warehouse manager for staging
- Update the site survey boards as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Positive attitude with good people skills
- Able to explain steps in the solar process to customers, with clear, easy to understand directions
- Understanding of Google Drive
- Understanding of Monday.com
- Knowledge of Solar Array installations
- Knowledge and willingness to learn how to get Residential Solar Systems from the roof, and back to the Point of Interconnection
- Able to lift 50 lbs, and open to learning new skills with a growth mindset
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Full-time 40 hours per week
- Starting pay $20-25/hour (based on experience)

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
