Job description

Sacred Heart School, located in Glyndon, MD, is searching for two full-time third grade teachers for the 2023-2024 school year.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Follows the guidelines and tenants of the Catholic Church and the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
  • Provide supervision for homeroom before and at the end of the day
  • Instruct grade 3 in ELA, math, science, social studies and religion classes
  • Recess and lunch duties scheduled
  • Attend morning faculty meetings or as scheduled
  • Attend various school events such as Back to School Night, graduation, and Open House

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Batchelor's degree (minimum)
  • Be certified in the state of Maryland or willing/working to certifications
  • Must be a practicing Catholic
