WellHaven Pet Health Mill Plain is an AAHA-accredited and fear-free hospital seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician. We are looking for someone who has been trained in surgery, including prepping, monitoring, and recovering. **Veterinary Technician license required**
Our ideal candidate will have a true passion for the industry and the desire to expand their skills and knowledge. Effective communication skills, along with solid technical proficiencies, such as patient restraint, phlebotomy, and anesthesia, are required.
As a License Veterinary Technician, you are a practitioner and a leader within the hospital. We work to utilize our technicians to the best of their abilities and want you to use the skills you worked so hard to acquire. Your continued growth and development are important to us. We have partnered with Kara Burns, previously the president of NAVTA, as our Director of Veterinary Nursing Development to help further develop our technicians' skills, including a training program in nutrition.
