Job Title: Blue Peaks Roofing Insurance Xactimate Negotiator
Job Overview:
Blue Peaks Roofing is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Xactimate Negotiator. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively negotiating and maximizing insurance claims for roofing projects using the Xactimate software. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the company receives fair and accurate reimbursement from insurance companies for the services rendered. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance claims processes, excellent negotiation skills, and a comprehensive knowledge of Xactimate software.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze insurance claims related to roofing projects, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
- Utilize the Xactimate software to create detailed estimates for roofing repairs and replacements, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
- Conduct thorough assessments of damaged roofs and prepare comprehensive reports to support insurance claims.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and representatives to negotiate fair and reasonable settlements for insurance claims.
- Advocate on behalf of the company to ensure proper reimbursement for services rendered, including handling disputes and providing supporting evidence as needed.
- Collaborate with the Blue Peaks Roofing team, including project managers, estimators, and contractors, to gather all relevant information for claims negotiations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to insurance claims and Xactimate software.
- Maintain accurate records of all insurance claims, negotiations, and settlements for reference and reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, answering inquiries and resolving any concerns related to insurance claims.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in insurance claims negotiation, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in using Xactimate software for estimating and negotiation purposes.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities, with the capability to advocate effectively for fair settlements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
